I am retired and TD Bank gave me a 7th day of the month due date. I recently had a payment I sent on December 30. 2014, and TD Bank never recorded it until the 8th of the month. Thus, I received a $25.00 late fee. Why did it take 10 days to post my payment? Can I change my due date?

Please note, payments made via check could take up to 7-10 business days to be received and processed.
If you have a TD Visa credit card, did you know that our Online Banking Customers with a TD Bank Checking or Savings account may make their credit card payments using TD Bank Online Banking at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you don't have Online Banking, but have a TD Checking or Savings account, we can get you set up! If you have an ATM/Debit Card and Social Security number you may fill out the online application to access your personal account(s). Please visit: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to enroll for TD Bank Online Banking. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box. Signing up for TD Bank Online is quick and easy, and you'll be able to view your accounts in three simple steps. After these are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. If you have any other questions or issues setting up your Online Banking feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Once you're enrolled for this service, you may make a transfer from your TD Checking or Savings account to your credit card account online as a payment at any time.
You may also make your Credit Card payments by visiting your local TD Bank Store location. To find TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Please note; payments made via a TD Store or Via Online only takes 2-3 businesses days for processing.

If you don't have a TD Checking or Savings account or prefer making your credit card payment by using your other bank account within the United States, you may make payments online by using the TD Credit Card website at www.tdcardservices.com. If you have not enrolled your account, you can do so by selecting the "Set up your account now" link located on the right side of the page under "Need to enroll your Account?" or, you may click here to take you directly to the enrollment page: http://bit.ly/1mZCFef. There are three steps, and you will need your card number handy for the enrollment process. Once you've successfully enrolled your account, you can make payments from the comfort of your own home! If you choose this method and make the payment on a business day by 5 pm EST, your payment will be posted to your credit card account on the same business day.
