I see direct deposits pending on Saturday, but are not listed as deposited until Tuesday. I believe in the past they were shown as deposited on Monday. Please explain this process and if any changes have been made in the last year or so.

Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps. We'll be sure to answer your question about EFT deposits as best as we can.
Typically, an electronic funds transfer like a direct deposit can take up to 2-3 business days to fully process. Additionally, you may sometimes see the transfer or deposit pending on your account before it fully posts, but we recommend reaching out to a Banking Specialist to confirm if the pending funds may already be available for you to access or not.
To provide an example, if a direct deposit is made into your TD Bank account on a Saturday, as this is not a business day, the funds should fully post to your account by the following Monday (or next available business day) at midnight. You may see the deposit pending on your account anytime between Saturday and Monday, but the funds will not fully post until Monday night. You will then be able to see the funds fully available for access by Tuesday morning, with a posting date of Monday's business day.
As mentioned earlier, in some cases you may have access to the funds while they are still pending, but we recommend you connect with a Specialist at TD prior to attempting to access the funds while still pending on your account.
If you have any additional questions, feel free to call our 24/7 Banking Specialists at 888-751-9000. As always you can visit a TD Bank Store during lobby hours to inquire about this as well. Take a look at http://bit.ly/TDStores to find your nearest location and hours.
Let us know if you have any other questions and take care!
