I have problems entering decimals as I try to deposit a check on the TD app on my iPhone. It seems like not being able to enter the correct the right amount of cents is making it impossible to deposit my check. I'll be abroad until late August and therefore won't be able to get to an ATM, is there anything I can do to get the mobile deposit to work?

We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble making a deposit, Martin. We'd be glad to help.
Please know that TD Bank Mobile Deposit is available for most Android and iPhone devices. We ask that you use the most recent version of the Operating System for your device, as well as the most recent version of the TD Bank App. If either of these is out-of-date, please download a new version; any outdated version may prevent you from using all the available features. It may also be a good idea to uninstall and then reinstall the app. If you reinstall the TD Mobile App and if it asks for permission to use your camera, please allow this access. For a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding our Mobile Deposit feature, please see: http://bit.ly/1e3jiYF which could help troubleshoot your issue.
If these suggestions don't resolve this for you, we do recommend discussing the issue further with our Specialists. You are able to reach them from overseas 24/7 by dialing 856-751-9000 or 215-569-0518 collect from a landline telephone.
You are also able to send us deposits by mail using our Bank by Mail service! All you would need to do is mail your deposit to the address below:
TD Bank, N.A. ME2-001-033 P.O. Box Number 1190 Lewiston, Maine 04243
We recommend visiting http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ to learn more about our funds availability policy starting on page 38. Also keep in mind that the TD Bank is not responsible for items lost in mail. Here are some additional tips to consider prior to mailing your deposit:
- Cash should not be sent through the mail
- Payee of the check and name on deposit ticket should be the same
- Checks should be endorsed (and restricted "for deposit only")
- Multiple checks should be listed and a total of the deposit listed
- Enclose the deposit ticket, not the carbon copy
- If using a blank deposit ticket, please write the account number clearly
- Do not staple transactions
We hope to hear from you soon, Martin and have a good afternoon.
