Hi, I need to set up an estate checking account. Once I do that, can I link that account to my current TD online banking login and pay estate bills electronically? Some banks (Chase, for example) do not allow estate checking accounts to utilize electronic bill pay.

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Douglas.
Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss. We know it must be a tough time so we want to make the process of setting up an Estate Account as easy as possible.
In order to open an Estate account, the executors must have an active US address and visit a TD Store to do so. They will also need to provide valid photo identification, Copy of the death certificate, and further documents may be required; however, it does vary depending on the state in which the decedent passed away.
Since you mentioned that you currently have online access for your existing account, you may certainly add this account and schedule bill payments as well.
For information, please contact the local Store in that State for more information. For hours, locations, and Store contact number, please visit: https://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
If you need additional information on this inquiry, please call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Thanks for the question, Douglas. Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you.

I would appreciate it if you could call me regarding opening estate accounts for online bill pay at TD. I have received conflicting information on this subject from your branch locations.
