To whom it may concern:
I have been charged $27 in "Excess Pre-Authorized Withdrawals" in fees for transfer between my savings and checking accounts. My fee should be waived, as I have a Student Checking Account (listed at this link https://esecure.tdbank.com/net/accountopening/1_fees.pdf and also told to me in person when I opened my account in September 2013.) How do I have those fees revoked? Thank you!

Welcome to TD Helps, Catherine. We will be happy to guide you in the right direction with your inquiry.
Generally, Checking accounts can have an unlimited number of transactions each statement cycle; Savings accounts, however, do have restrictions on the number of transactions that can occur. The fee you mentioned sound like an Excess Transfer fee, which is $9.00. This fee is charged for each transfer out of a Savings or Money Market account that you make when you exceed more than 6 transfers during your statement cycle. We'd like to point out however, that you can transfer an unlimited amount of times in to your Savings or Money Market account. Please note, there are ways which you're able to make withdrawal without exceeding this limit.
Transactions that won't incur the Excess Transfer Fee are Over-the-Counter (OTC) withdrawals, ATM withdrawals, ATM Transfers, and Transfers originated in person.
