Which do you process first. If my pendings go over can I run in a cash deposit to cover? Is cash deposited later in the day posted later than the other transactions in pending?

Welcome to the TD Helps Community, Susan. We're happy to help!
Please know that transactions can only post on Federal business days and business days are every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal Holidays. This means that for any transactions occurring on a weekend, these will be considered for Monday's business day along with any transactions also authorized on Monday. We understand that this can be confusing knowing that the items may have been purchased earlier and apologize for any inconvenience. More information about our processing order can be found in our Deposit Account Agreement here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ pages 7-9.
Generally speaking, when making check deposits with a Teller, the first $100.00 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, Check Deposits can be held up to 7 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100.00 be made available at the time of deposit, but the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day.
If you made a check deposit on Monday, you should see the full amount of the check listed under the Credit and Debit column, and you should also see a credit of $100.00 listed under the Credit column at the same time.
Please note, we do not allow the 8:00pm threshold to make a deposit into your account once you are overdrawn. We recommend making sure you have the available funds before making any purchases.
To better assist you in understanding this process or if you'd like us to review your account specifically, feel free to call 888-751-9000, anytime 24/7, to speak with one of our Banking Specialists. After account verification they'd be more than happy help. Additionally, you may visit any TD Bank Store for assistance in person. We hope this helps, Susan. Have a great week!
