i GAVE MY DEBIT CARD INSTEAD OF CREDIT CARD TO A HOTEL. I NEED THAT CHARGE REVERSED. THEY NEED TO FAX SOMETHING TO TD BANK. WHAT IS THE FAX NUMBER THE SEND IT TO?

Hi Darci. We're sorry to hear about the mix up, but we'd be glad to provide you with the info need!
If this transaction is still pending on your account, a quick fax from the hotel should take care of it. They'll need to send us the authorization for release on their company letter head. Be sure that they include your full card number, name, and the exact date and amount of the authorization to be released. They can then send that to 856-533-1138.
If the hold is relatively low, we may be able to release the hold without the letter. Just give us a call at 888-751-9000. Our Banking Specialists will take a look at the transaction and see if it's still eligible for release. Once the hold has been removed, the funds will be released back to your available balance. Please know that the authorization may still post if the merchant hasn't cancelled it on their end, though it sounds like they have. Should this occur, we recommend first reaching out to the merchant directly to request a refund. If they are unwilling or unable, just give us a call at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us a local Store. We'd be happy to get started on filing a dispute to recover funds.
