I've never deposited a check from my phone before and was wondering if there's a fee if I do it from my mobile phone versus doing it in a branch

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Amanda. We'd be glad to discuss Mobile Banking with you.
You are able to use the all the features of Mobile Banking free of charge, including Mobile Deposit. Just like Online Banking, you are able to transfer between your accounts, schedule payments and more. Feel free to take a look here: https://go.td.com/2gkUc4O to learn more about Mobile Banking.
To make a Mobile Deposit, please follow the steps below:
1. From the Main Menu of the TD Bank Mobile Banking app, select Mobile Deposit, then Deposit a Check
2. Enter the amount of the check
3. Take a photo of the check using your mobile device
4. Select your account
5. Review and submit your deposit You may wish to note the date on the front of the check and include the word “Deposited”, for your records.
Additionally, you may want to keep this for 14 days to ensure it has cleared your account. You are then welcome to destroy the check.
We also recommend reviewing the information here: http://go.td.com/1kb17UQ. On pages 40-44, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you have any further questions or concerns, feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this helps, Amanda. Have a good day.
