Thanks for submitting your TD Helps question, John. There are plenty of ways to obtain your account balance and we'll be happy to go over them with you.
If you are currently enrolled for our Online Banking at www.tdbank.com, you would be able to view your balance online. You may also view the transactions as well. After you are logged into your account, you may click on the “Accounts” tab at the top of the page and then click on the name of the account you want to view. Then, select from the following drop down options “Last 10 days, My Current Statement, My Previous Statement or All Available History” and select the “Show History” button to the right of the screen.
If you're not currently enrolled and would like to take advantage of this free service you may click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, ATM/debit card number and Social Security number available to complete the enrollment. The page will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to complete the process. If you have any questions please call our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for further assistance.
If you have a Business account with us and are looking to enroll for TD Bank BusinessDirect, you may follow the link above and choose Business from the drop down box. Once you’re at the “Sign Up for TD Bank BusinessDirect” page, please complete the application. You will need your Business Taxpayer Identification Number, account number, ATM/Debit card number, the business name, and your e-mail address. When you are finished with the application, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within 2 business days that contains your User ID and password. If you do not have all of the required information, you may sign up for this service by visiting your local TD Bank Store during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores for a list of TD Stores and hours.
In addition to Online Banking we also offer Mobile Banking services. The TD Bank Mobile App is available for most iPhone, Android and Blackberry devices so you can manage your banking needs anytime, anywhere with the quick, easy and secure Mobile App. After you are enrolled for Online Banking, you can download the app by visiting http://bit.ly/1opBqUt. The user name and password that the Mobile App will ask you for is the same as the one you've created for you Online Banking profile on our website.
Also, you may obtain your account transactions and balance by dialing our 24/7 Automated Telephone Banking System at the telephone number listed above. At any time during the call you may press 0 to connect with a live Banking Specialist (available 24/7). Or feel free to visit one of our convenient locations near you. You may even use a TD ATM for your balance!
We hope this help, John and please let us know if you have any other questions.
