We thank you for coming to TD Helps with your question, Chris.
At this time, there is a 3% foreign transaction fee that is applied for transactions processed internationally and will be posted in US currency. This includes all of the TD Bank Visa Credit Cards we offer, except for the First Class Visa Signature Card, in which there is currently no international transaction fee. Please note; fees may subject to change. We encourage you to review a general copy of the Personal Credit Card Agreement at http://bit.ly/1klVfbF . The Interest Rate and Fee Schedule can be found on Page 12, and information on the Exchange Rate at Page 2. You may also wish to contact TD Card Services directly at 888-561-8861 to request a copy of your specific agreement or discuss your card directly.
Neither TD Bank nor Visa charges any foreign transaction fees when you use your TD Visa Debit card! You'll also be able to use your debit card to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM Machine that displays either the VISA or NYCE logo. If you are unable to find a compatible machine, you will also be able to use your Debit Card to obtain a VISA Cash Advance. Please note that non-TD ATM fees still may apply. For more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. And, we invite you to review page 45 of our Deposit Account Agreement at http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for more information about international ATM Card or Visa Debit card transactions and the exchange rate for purchases.
