We apologize for any trouble you may have had in attempting to negotiate a foreign check with us, this must be frustrating for you. We can certainly discuss your options in a bit more detail here.
First, we would like to let you know that we can accept foreign checks for deposit to your TD Bank account, and these can be deposited with any of our Tellers at a local Store. Feel free to find a listing near you in Tamarac here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. Kindly note that we will accept these items for collection only; they cannot be cashed at this time. In addition, the international check must have an equivalent value of at least U.S. $100.00 to be accepted for deposit.
Also, fees may apply for the deposit of a foreign item. If you'll be depositing the check to a personal account with TD Bank, please take a look at our current Fee Schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We'd also like to let you know that if you are not currently a TD Bank Customer, we apologize that we won't be able to negotiate the item for you. If that is the case, we encourage to you reach out to your own financial institution for options they may be able to offer you. Or, please consider opening an account with us! You can do so when visiting us to deposit the check.
