Thanks for writing us here at TD Helps, Todd. We're happy to provide you with options to reset your password.
If you’re referring to your password for your personal account on www.tdbank.com and you know your username, you may reset your password by following this link: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you’re at the Log In page, please click on the “Trouble Logging In” link that is located under the password field via your Online Banking. Here you may select the account type and input your User Name. You will then be asked to answer 2 security questions. After successfully answering the security questions, you will be able to reset your password. When creating your new password, here are a few tips we would like to share with you:
Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically, ideally every 90 days
If you haven't been able to reset your password with these instructions, we are glad to provide other options for you. You may call a Digital Banking Specialist directly at 800-493-7562 at any time of day or night. After account verification, we will be glad to reset this information for you over the phone. If you prefer assistance in person, please visit us at any local TD Bank store near you.
If you had any trouble remembering your password for obtaining account information by telephone, we are pleased to change or remove this information at your TD Bank store location during lobby hours or by sending us a secure message through online banking. For hours and locations near you, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. To send a secured message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq . On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. Please include your travel destination(s) and travel dates. If you are not enrolled for online banking, you can do so for free here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your Social Security number, TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, his account number, and his e-mail address. Once you have successfully enrolled, you will have immediate access to your account(s).
We hope this information helps, Todd. Please let us know if you have any other questions and have a great day.
