Hello, I am French and coming next summer for a paid internship at American Express. Can I open a bank account at TD Bank? If yes, How? Thanks!

Good morning, Justine!
Thank you for your interest in joining the TD Family!
In order to open an account with us, you will need to visit us at a TD Bank Store during lobby hours. You can check out TD Stores in your new neighborhood here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
Before visiting a TD Store, we recommend taking a look at the accounts we have to offer. You are able to take a look at checking accounts here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu and savings accounts here: https://go.td.com/2dIcnAw.
If you're having trouble choosing an account, we invite you to take a look at our Account Selector here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E. After a few quick questions, the website will generate a custom recommendation!
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a Non-US resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We also recommend reaching out to the TD Store you plan on visiting prior to your trip to determine if any additional information will be necessary to open an account.
We're excited for your visit, Justine! Have a lovely Holiday and great winter!
