I opened an account online, and clicked the option to fund it with an online transfer from another bank. TD even took the account info for the other bank, and verified that it's my account. Typed in the amount and everything. All seemed fine. But the transfer never happened, and my new TD account was never funded. I never received an ATM card either. Does that mean the only way to fund a new account that was opened online is to actually go to a branch? That seems kinda opposite to "online" banking. I called, but the CSR person could not help at all.
