I just move to Florida and I'd like to open a new account. If I deposit a personal check from PNC Bank. When are the funds available for withdrawal. I need to be able to purchase a Cashier Check.

Thanks for swinging by TD Helps, Marie! We're excited to hear that you'd like to bank with us and we'll be glad to answer any questions you have about opening an account and our funds availability policy.
We'd like to begin by going over our funds availability policy with you. When your account is less than 30 days old, holds may be placed on your check deposits for 7-10 days with a $100.00 made available immediately. Check out our Personal Deposit Account Agreement: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (Pages 39- 41). With that being said, we would recommend seeking other check cashing methods for this check and depositing the funds into your account.
We invite you to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
Once you decided on the account(s) that best suit your needs, you may open the account(s) 24/7 by calling us at 888-751-9000, visiting any TD Bank location during lobby hours or online through the links listed above. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
An Official Check can be purchased at any TD Bank location during lobby hours. There may be a fee associated with this request; click here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our Personal Fee Schedule.
We hope this is helpful to you, Marie and enjoy the rest of your weekend!
