my gift card was for $40.00. I put $20.00 from card to get gas. I didn't use the card for two days, then when I went to use it again after sitting for 2 days there was zero balance on it. Did the gas station scam my card? or is there a one time use where ya lose the remainder if you don't use it at one time??? I believe the card was skimmed....any info would be greatly appreciated...its a TD Bank Giftcard....

Happy Saturday, Walter, and thanks for bringing your concerns to TD Helps. We apologize for any confusion you may be experiencing with your TD Bank VISA Gift Card, and we'll be happy to help. At this time, TD Bank does not require for the funds in a Gift Card to be used for one purchase, and as you mentioned that you believe you may have been incorrectly charged by a merchant, we'd like to recommend that you connect with us directly so that we may review your card and transactions in further detail. For your convenience, our Gift Card Specialists are here to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be reached by simply dialing 1-888-294-2249. We apologize again for any confusion this may be causing you, Walter, and we look forward to hearing from you soon. Take care.
