We appreciate you coming to us here at TD Helps with your inquiry, Anelis.
You'll be pleased to know that your TD Visa Debit Card is convenient, secure and rewarding- so you can shop and bank with confidence. You can use your debit card at millions of locations that accepts Visa across the globe. When making an ATM withdrawal from an international location, please make sure that the ATM machine displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. The TD Bank Debit Card may also be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance if a compatible ATM is not available. Please note non-TD ATM fees still may apply. Many ATMs outside the United States limit withdrawals to checking accounts only, TD Bank Online can be used to transfer money from your savings account to your checking account should more funds be needed.
Although you are able to utilize your TD Debit card while outside the US, we do also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while in Peru, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu.
