Thank you for reaching out to us Gary. We are happy to provide some information on international purchases and ATM use here on TD Helps. Your TD Bank Visa Debit Card can be used at any ATM location worldwide where VISA or NYCE are accepted. We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your debit card out of the country. Check out http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view the fee schedule. Also, to protect you from fraud, we will decline any irregular debits, ATM or credit card transactions that are attempted if we are not informed of your travel arrangements. We recommend you set up Travel Notes on your account by calling us at (888) 751-9000 or by visiting a Store during lobby hours; for a listing of TD Bank Stores and hours check http://bit.ly/TDStores. Another option is to send us a secure message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a secured message you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center”. For more tips on traveling abroad, please feel free to visit http://bit.ly/1fP7hxZ. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us 24/7 from outside the United States by dialing direct (856) 751-9000 or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. We hope this helps and have a great trip!
