Or what if I sign the check and have someone cash the check?

Good question, Trisha! We'll be glad to go over the ways that someone else can make a deposit into your account.
If someone who is not a signer on the account wants to deposit a check made payable to you, that person is more than welcome to do so with your signature or by writing "For Deposit Only" on the back of the check.
We would also like you to keep in mind that only the person to whom the check is made payable is able to cash that check or if you have a Power of Attorney, he/she may be able to cash the check on your behalf.
Feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit any TD Bank location if you have any questions, Trisha. Take care and have a good day!
