Thanks for your message on TD Helps, Steve.
In order to provide these titles, we encourage you to determine if the vehicle loans were provided by TD Bank or TD Auto Finance.
If the loans were provided through TD Auto Finance, please contact a TD Auto Finance Representative. They are available Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Saturday 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, at 800-556-8172 to help you.
If the loans were provided through TD Bank, to obtain the release of lien for each vehicle, a fax for each is required. Please fax the following information to the Consumer Release Department at 207-753-3750:
• The full name, address, and Social Security number of the lien holder •The account number, if it is available • The year, make, model and VIN, as well as the original bank the loan was with and the date it was paid off, if available •Your request for a Release of Lien/Title •Your instructions for the documentation such as a return fax number or the address where it should be sent •Your signature
We also recommend including your best contact number so that we can assist you as efficiently as possible. Please keep in mind that the turnaround time for the request is typically 3-5 business days, and a separate fax would be needed with the information for each vehicle.
