We are Canadian and own a condo in Delray Beach Fla. that we are renting out for the next six months. What I would like to know is if we give the tenant our account number can she deposit the checks directly to our TD US account? (This would save her the expense of email transfers) Would there be any security concerns? Does she have to go to our branch?

Good afternoon, Barb and thank you for reaching out to TD Helps for your answer. We're happy to respond.
Although we do not recommend sharing your account information, your tenant can bring her check into the nearest TD Bank Store to deposit into your TD Bank N.A. account. Please also know that our concern for the safety of your financial and personal information goes beyond our banking relationship with you. Please take a moment to visit here: http://bit.ly/1npPddy and hopefully it will provide you the peace of mind.
In order for your tenant to deposit a check made payable to you into your TD Bank account, she needs to write “For deposit only” with your account number on the back of the check. The deposit can be processed with a Teller in the Lobby or Drive-thru at any TD Bank Store location.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You may also stop by your local TD Bank Store location for further assistance. To find out the nearest TD Store near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Thanks again for your visit today, Barb. Have a good one!
