Got an email that says I need to change my user name if it has symbols in it. Do I need to change it?

This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to clear up any confusion.
Here at TD Bank, we're so excited to bring our Customer's a new upgrade to help make everyone's Online Banking experience easier, more convenient, and more secure than ever! This upgrade will have improved security features, and for this reason, we are asking that any Customer who may have special characters already included in their username, select a new username.
However, please don't worry! Changing your username is easy, and we'll be more than happy to help.
You'll first want to log into your Personal Online Banking using your current credentials, and you're welcome to do so from here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq. Once you have gained access to your account(s), you'll next want to click on the 'Customer Service' tab towards the top, right hand side of your screen. Then, under 'Update Profile and Preferences', click on 'Username'. Once you have entered in your new username using the new credentials that would have been included in your email, select submit, and you're all set!
