I had an account, over 8 years ago, and I closed the account, with what I thought was a zero balance. I tried to open up another checking account, in the new city I'm in and they said I still owe money here. Who would I contact about this?

Based on your question, it sounds like you will need to contact our Recovery Department. This department handles accounts that have been charged off. You may contact our Recovery Department Monday through Friday 8am to 9pm and Saturday 8am to 5pm at 800-742-2651. If you wish to, you may also visit your local TD Bank Store during the lobby hour and one of our friendly Customer Service Representatives may be able to assist you.
