Brand new auto loan want to pay by phone. I go through all
the questions and my checking account is denied. My Visa
credit/debit card is denied. Why? This is the first car payment
and I don't want to be late.

It sounds like your new auto loan is through TD Auto Finance. We recommend reaching out to them directly to discuss your payment concerns. You may contact a TD Auto Finance Representative Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM at 1-800-556-8172. They will be glad to help!
