Welcome to the TD Helps community, Frederick.
We're glad to let you know that you can reset your Online Banking Password yourself, if you know your current User Name. To do so, just follow this link: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you're at the Log In page, please click on the "Trouble Logging In" link that is located under the password field. Select the account type and type your User Name. You will then be asked to answer two security questions. When you successfully answer the questions given, you will then be asked to reset your Password.
If your account has been locked or you do not recall your User Name, that's okay! Just connect one of our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. They will be able to assist you resetting your account access. You can also stop in at your local TD Bank Store, where a Customer Service Representative will be able to help. Please visit here: http://bit.ly/TDStoresfor Store locations and hours near you.
When creating your new password, here a few tips we can share with you:
-Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
-Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
-Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
-Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically, ideally every 90 days
Hope this helps answer your question and take care!
