Hi Guangpeng, thanks for connecting with us with your question. At TD Helps, we're glad to answer any transfer questions you have.
The information to send a wire actually depends on a couple of things. It's a little different if you're sending U.S. Dollars or foreign currency from the sending bank.
For an International Wire and the sending bank is transferring in U.S. Currency, then you need to provide them with:
Wire to: TD Bank
Location: Wilmington, Delaware
Credit To/Beneficiary: Our Customer's Full Name (exactly as we have it listed on their TD Bank account)
Beneficiary Address: The address we have listed on the Customer's TD Bank account
Account#/IBAN: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number
But, if the wire is being sent in foreign currency (to be exchanged into U.S. Dollars when received), you will need to provide the following:
The Toronto-Dominion Bank
Swift code: TDOMCATTTOR
Bank address: The Toronto-Dominion Bank, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5K 1A2
For Further Credit to (Beneficiary Bank):
TD Bank, N.A.
Swift code: NRTHUS33XXX
Beneficiary bank address: TD BANK, N.A., *Use the local address of the TD Bank Store where our
Customer opened their account
In Favor of:
Beneficiary Account Number: Our Customer's full TD Bank account number
Beneficiary Full Name: Our Customer's full name as we have it listed on their account
Beneficiary Address: Our Customer's address exactly as it appears on their account
For an international wire transfer, you can expect the funds to be received within three to five business days. We will post all incoming wires to your TD Bank account on the banking day they are received. International wire transfers sent in Foreign Currency can be received until 3:30 PM EST, or, if the transfer is sent in US Dollars it can be received until 6:30 PM EST
Also, please know that we do not accept incoming Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) wires and will return them to the sender.
We hope this helps Guangpeng. Please reach out to us again though if you have any other questions. Have a great day!
