Hello, a few years ago I opened a bank account when I went on vacation, I would like to know what state it is in if it is blocked or active?

Good morning, Daniel, and welcome.
We'll be happy to assist you with your concerns.
Before we begin, as you mentioned that your account was opened a few years ago, we'd first like to take a moment to explain that, here at TD Bank, an account that has no Customer initiated activity can become inactive, or even dormant.
If no activity has been initiated on an account, such as deposits or withdrawals, a Checking or Money Market account will become inactive after 6 months. Savings accounts can also become inactive, which occurs after 9 months of no activity. Once an account become inactive, should no further activity be processed to the account, after 3 to 5 years the account will become dormant. It's important to note that once an account is dormant, it can be escheated to the state in which the account was opened.
Here on TD Helps, we are unfortunately unable to access account or personal information to confirm if your account is in an active, inactive, or dormant status; however, we'll be happy to connect you with someone who can help!
As you're outside of the United States at this time, you may call toll free at 1-856-751-9000 to speak with a Banking Specialist, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You may also call collect with operator assistance from any landline device by asking the operator to dial (215)-569-0518.
We apologize that we're unable to directly assist you today, Daniel, but we look forward to hearing from you soon.
We hope you have a good weekend!
