Hi Ivy! Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question.
With our joint personal accounts, each signer has 100% ownership over the account. This means that either signer can conduct transactions independently of the other signers. It also means that neither signer can be removed at the request of another signer.
At this time, we do not offer a personal account that requires dual signatures on checks. You may be able to purchase checks that include two lines for endorsements, but we will not require both signatures. To inquire into whether these types of checks may be available, we recommend reaching out to the check production company we use, Harland Clarke. They can be reached at 800-858-3355. Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 7AM to 1AM, Saturday from 7AM to 8PM, and Sunday from 8AM.
If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. You can also give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
We hope you're having a great day, Ivy!
