Thanks for making a stop at TD Helps, Danu. We would be glad to help provide details regarding wire transfers.
Before we do, it sounds like you are looking to TD Bank for you banking needs. Here at TD Bank, we offer many different types of Checking accounts. To view and compare our Checking accounts, visit http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a Checking account that best fits your banking needs. You may also take a look at http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT for more detailed information on each particular Savings Account available at TD Bank. You may find it helpful to check out our customized Savings Selector tool, found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM.
Once you have decided the type of the account you wish to open, you may click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. You may also feel free to call us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000 with any questions you may have and set up your new account via telephone.
Additionally, you are welcome to stop by your nearest TD Bank Store to speak with a Banking Specialist in regards to setting up the new account or determining what product type fits you the best. To find out TD Store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores. You will need to bring a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number.
Once your new account is opened and funded, as long as the funds are available, you may wish to initiate an outgoing wire transfer at any TD Stores during lobby hours.
To send a domestic wire you will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind also that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other Financial Institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire.
Keep in mind that transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other Financial Institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
We hope this was helpful and hope you have a great day, Danu.
