Good afternoon Inna,
Welcome to the TD Helps community!
We appreciate you inquiring with us about this transaction and we understand your concern about a duplicate posting of this item. We'd like to let you know that it is possible to stop a pending debit on your account, but this does depend on the type of payment method you used for it.
Please note that any transactions made with a TD Bank Visa Debit card cannot be stopped once they have been authorized on your card. If this transaction was authorized with your debit card and it is still pending, you may be able to obtain a merchant release of the funds and we can review this possibility for you by calling us 24/7 at 888-751-9000. It's also possible that because this item is a duplicate, the transaction may expire rather than be collected by the company. When this occurs, the funds will be returned to your available balance once the hold expires. We can also check to see the expiration date for you when you give us a call at the same number, and advise you of any other options that may exist.
In case this is an ACH/direct debit (a transaction using your routing and account numbers) and the item is still pending, a stop payment may be possible. Before requesting a stop payment, we encourage you to call us at the number listed above so that we can review the transaction type with you. When calling, if the item is eligible for a stop payment we can place it over the phone for you. In addition, you may also stop by your nearest TD Bank Store location to request the stop payment request in person. To find TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Depending on your Checking account type, there may be a fee applied for a stop payment. Please visit: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt to view our current Fee Schedule.
We can also recommend that you contact McAfee directly to determine the status of this extra charge, and if they can provide you with a refund directly.
We hope this will provide some help with this transaction, Inna.
All the best to you and we hope to chat with you soon!
