It is great to hear from you here on TD Helps, Sabrina!
When making check deposits with a Teller, the first $100 is made available immediately. If you are a new account holder and your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, Check Deposits can be held up to 7-10 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100 be made available at the time of deposit but the rest of the funds will credit to your account the following business day.
If your check deposit is made before 8pm it will be made available the following business day. If your deposit is made after 8pm on a business day or on any weekend or holiday, the next business day will be considered the deposit date. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays.
You may also take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On pages 35-37 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
Let us know if you have any other questions, Sabrina. We hope to see you here on TD Helps again!
