Thank you for joining us here on TD Helps, Pui San!
We are unable to cash or deposit directly any Foreign Currency Checks that are drawn outside the US and Canada. Foreign Currency Checks must be sent for payment to our International Check Collections Department and must be a minimum of $100 U.S. currency value. We ask that you visit us during lobby hours and a Customer Service Representative will be more than happy to help and provide any additional information. Please check : http://bit.ly/TDStores for store hours and locations near you. Once our Specialist have assisted you with your request, you'll be provided with an outgoing collection receipt and a copy of the foreign check. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On page 41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy on foreign checks. The rates applied will be of the day and date funds are received and confirmed from the foreign bank. We are also unable to process third party foreign checks and checks must not be more than 6 months old . TD Bank uses its own rate of exchange, we do not use rates printed by newspapers or published online. Please note exchange rate fees will apply, we recommend confirming this fee amount upon your visit to the store.
We are also available for additional questions 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Let us know if you have any questions, and have a great day!
