Thanks for your question, Ron. Welcome to TD Helps!
When making a deposit using a TD Bank ATM, the first $100 of your deposit is made available to you right away, as long as your account has been opened for more than 90 days. The remaining amount should be available to you the next business day. For more information on our funds availability policy take a look at Page 35 of our Deposit Account Agreement, located here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ
We appreciate you visiting TD Helps, Ron. Please do not hesitate to ask us any further questions.

Just curious about this because I just received a letter from the bank stating that as of some time this month cash deposits were going to be available right away when made through a TD Bank ATM, do you happen to know the actual date this is going to be available?

Hello Jo, we appreciate you joining us on TD Helps today.
We are making your ATM cash deposits available right away. Beginning August 17, 2014, cash deposits made at any of our TD Bank envelope-free ATMs will be available immediately. With more than 1,500 ATMs that count your cash deposits, you can deposit and use the funds right away to cover payments or purchases. Quicker access to funds is just one more way we’re making banking convenient for you!
Please keep in mind that our current cut off time for the ATM is 8:00pm. All deposits made after 8:00pm will be considered next Business Day.
Hope this answers your question and have a nice day!

Welcome to our conversations Karen!
As indicated in the previous response, cash deposits made at the ATM are available immediately on the business day on which they are deposited.
Also, TD Bank makes the first $100.00 available of your daily ATM check deposits immediately for accounts that are opened 90 days or greater. If your account is less than 90 days old, the first $100 of a check deposit made at a TD Bank ATM will be available to you on the first (1st) Business Day after the day of your deposit.
Deposits made through the ATM before 8:00 PM will be available on the next banking day. However, deposits made through the ATM after 8:00 PM will be considered the next days' business and will post to your account on the following business day. For example, if you make an ATM deposit after 8:00 PM on a Friday, that deposit is considered to be on Monday's banking day and will post to your account on Tuesday. Anytime a holiday falls on a Monday, the deposit will post to your account on Wednesday morning.
Because there are exceptions that may cause delays in funds availability, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ . On pages 38-41, you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you have any additional questions, please feel free to reach out to our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000. You may also stop by your local TD Bank Store location. To find out the nearest TD Store near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If we can assist you again, please feel free to write to us anytime! We hope this helps and enjoy your day.
