Thanks for coming to TD Helps today, Stiven and also for considering TD Bank for your banking needs. We'll be happy to provide some useful information on how to open an account with us.
We invite you to take a look at what accounts we currently offer by clicking here: http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 for a list of checking accounts, and here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 for a list of our savings accounts. For a personalized recommendation for a checking account click here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help you choose the best savings account for your needs.
If you are a Non-US resident and do not have a US Social Security number at this time, please note that you will need to stop in to a TD Bank store during our lobby hours, and bring two forms of identification with you, to set up your new account. If you'll be in the United States, you're welcome to find our locations here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
We certainly hope this helps and please let us know if you have any questions, Stiven!
