Thanks for reaching out to us through TD Helps, Fahad. If you have an active account with us, to best assist you in reviewing your account and obtaining a new card, we invite you to give us a call. Since you are in Pakistan, you may contact us from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. Also, as you mentioned having an account with us prior to our conversion to TD Bank, Fahad, it sounds like you may not have used your account in some time. If this is the case, there are a few things to consider and we'd like to tell you a little more about accounts and their statuses. Activity would be required for an account in order to maintain an Active status. If no transactions (deposits or withdrawals) are initiated by you on an account it will be considered Inactive after a specified period of time. Savings accounts are automatically changed to an inactive status after nine months of no Customer-initiated activity, and Checking accounts after six months. These accounts will be Dormant after three or five years of no activity depending on your region or State. Please also keep in mind that once an account becomes dormant, it can be turned over to the State in which the account was opened. You're welcome to see the article listed here: http://1.usa.gov/1ED20S9, which reviews information about abandoned or unclaimed accounts in the U.S. Kindly note that when calling us by phone, if we're unable to locate the account or if it is no longer active or open, it will be necessary to stop in at any Store for more information. For a listing of our current locations, see http://bit.ly/TDStores. Just in case any of your funds have been turned over to the State, you'll be able to contact them in order to recover your money. There is no time limit to do this. You may be able to locate the contact information via your State's website, or we can provide you with this information when you call us at the number listed above. We hope this helps Fahad, and please reach out again if you have any other questions. Have a great day, thanks!
