Hello, I have just opened up a secured credit card account with TD, but was told that there is an additional monthly fee of $29 for having the secured credit card account. Why is this, what is this for?

To discuss the specifics of your new credit card account, we recommend contacting us directly for assistance. You are able to call a Credit Card Specialist 24/7 at 888-561-8861. They would be happy to review your account and discuss any fees associated with it.
You are also able to visit a TD Store or send a secure message to discuss your credit card. To take a look at Store locations and their hours please visit http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
To send a secure message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://go.td.com/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see an option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center."
