Hey Tyheim, thanks for visiting us at TD Helps!
If your initial deposit was transferred from a Savings Account with another Financial Institution, it could take 3-5 business days to see the deposit. However; if your initial deposit came from a TD Savings Account, you should expect to see the deposit available in your new TD Checking Account on the following business day.
TD Savings Account does not have a Visa Debit Card; it only has an ATM Card. ATM Only Card can be used for balance inquiries and withdrawals at any ATM. You may wish to obtain a TD Visa Debit Card for your new TD Checking Account, which can also be linked to your TD Savings Account. A TD Debit Card can be used anywhere VISA is accepted and it can also be used for Online transactions such as paying your bills. During the online application, if you requested a TD Debit be mailed to your home, you should expect to receive your new card within 7-10 business days. Please note delays may occur depending on your Postal Office. Also, your new card will arrive in a regular white envelope for the security of your account.
If you prefer and need your new TD Debit Card immediately, you can always visit us during lobby hours. Our Specialists would be more than happy to print a new card for you and you would be able to leave with a new card! For TD Stores near you, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Tyheim. Let us know if you have any other questions.
