Welcome to TD Helps, Mabinty. We'd be glad to discuss transactions with you.
When you make a transaction with your debit card, the funds are debited from your account balance at the time of the transaction. The time it takes for a debit card transaction to apply to your statement depends on the processing method chosen at the time of the transaction; debit or credit.
Debit transactions are completed using your PIN and typically apply to your statement at the close of the business day. Credit transactions are those that you do not enter your PIN for. These items can take up to 3-5 business days to apply to your account depending on the merchant.
If the transaction is still pending against your account, we recommend first reaching out to the merchant directly. Often times they are able to cancel the authorization or issue a credit for the transaction.
If the business is unable to assist in cancelling the transaction, we recommend contacting us after the item applies to your statement so we can submit a dispute on your behalf. You are able to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit any TD Store during lobby hours to fill out a dispute.
Take a look at TD Stores near you and their hours here: http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR.
We hope this clears things up, Mabinty. Enjoy your day!
