We'll be glad to go over funds availability with you here on TD Helps, Danny.
If you've been a TD Customer for longer than 30 days and you make a check deposit with a Teller, the first $100 is made available immediately. If your account has not been open for 30 consecutive days, check deposits can be held up to 10 business days for verification purposes. After this grace period, not only will the first $100 be made available at the time of the deposit, the rest of the funds will be credited to your account on the following business day.
Check deposits made at a TD Bank ATM before 8:00 PM on a business day are considered deposits made on that business day. A business day is every day except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. However, if you make a deposit at an ATM after 8 PM, or on a non-business day, we will consider that the deposit was made on the following business day. For example, if you made an ATM deposit on Saturday, that deposit will be considered made on Monday's business day and will post to your account on Tuesday.
Please keep in mind that deposits made through mobile banking will not have the first $100 available on the same business day. In most cases, the full amount becomes available the following business day.
Please note there are exceptions that may cause delays in your funds availability, we invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you have any additional questions, don't hesitate to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit a TD location. To find a TD near you please view: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Hope this answers your question, Danny and take care!
