Hello, I would like to deposit money to my friend's account. I don't have a TD bank account. I also don't have cash on me and would like to know if it's okay to use my debit card for this transaction?

Thanks for submitting your question today, Jill.
There are several ways for you to make deposits into a TD Bank account. One way you could make a deposit would be by visiting a TD Bank location with cash and the account number. Another way to make a deposit would be to make a check payable to the individual and write “for deposit only” with the account number on the back of the check. Regardless of the option you choose, the deposit can be processed with a Teller in the Lobby or Drive-thru at any TD Bank location. Check out http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank location near you.
For Online transferring options from another financial institution to a TD Bank account, it is recommended to contact your financial institution for all available options.
Here at TD Bank, we do have the option where your friend that has the TD account can log into Online Banking to request funds from you via our new feature called Person-to-Person Payments. For more information on this feature please check out: http://bit.ly/1cz3aim.
If either you or your friend has any additional questions feel free to contact our Banking Specialists 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
Thanks for stopping by, Jill and take care.
