Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Olivia. We'd be glad to help them open an account!
In order to open an account with us, they will need to visit us at a TD Bank Store. To take a look at TD Stores they'd like to visit, please check out here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We offer many different types of checking and savings accounts. To take a look at the checking accounts we have to offer, please visit http://bit.ly/1aDaRqd or feel free to use our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help with selecting a checking account that suits their needs.
To take a look at savings accounts, please follow this link: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 , or if they prefer, we also have a Savings Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1DvM which can help decide on the savings account for them.
Once they are ready to visit a Store, as a Non-US resident they will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID they may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
It is very important to contact the Store they plan to visit to open the account to confirm if any other information or documentation will be required at the time of the account opening.
We hope this helps, Olivia and have a good day.
Megan K, Mount Laurel
