Saving & Managing Your Money
In reply to DUANE, BROOKLYN
Great to hear that you’re interested in learning more about your overdraft options, Duane! It's our pleasure to discuss this with you.
First, we invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1AlDFOr for more information regarding the overdraft options available through TD Bank.
Traditional forms of overdraft protection are typically a linked savings or line of credit, which can be accessed for funds should your linked checking account become overdrawn. These are the first two options listed at the link just mentioned. If your checking account becomes overdrawn, and you have sufficient funds available in your savings or line of credit accounts, the funds will be automatically transferred to your checking account.
We also offer an overdraft service called TD Debit Card Advance, also mentioned at the link above. Please note that this is optional overdraft service we offer with our checking accounts that may help you avoid debit card declines, and is not a standard form of overdraft protection. If your account is enrolled in this service, we may allow you to authorize ATM transactions or one-time debit card purchases, even if you don't have enough money available in your account, and we may assess a fee for each item that posts to your account with an ovedrawn balance. With this service, limits for approvals for purchases or withdrawals with your card are made at the discretion of TD Bank. For this service, we ask that you take a look here: http://bit.ly/1voNBCy for more details and also here: http://bit.ly/Yv0ulC for more specific information.
To compare all of these options, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lx9Xko. Also, fees can apply for these services and please review our current Fee Schedule at http://bit.ly/1cTejgt for more information.
To review these options, we invite you to give one of our knowledgeable Banking Specialists a call! For your convenience, they are available 24/7 at 888-751-9000 and can review your preferences with you in further detail at that time.
Or, if you'll be nearby one of our Stores, feel free to stop in during our extended lobby hours. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
We hope this is helpful, Duane! Please let us know about any questions and take care.
