Hello, I have a question regarding overdrafts/repayments...
I have about $1000 odd dollars in my checking account currently, but I have a $13,000 bill that needs to be paid immediately for me to remain enrolled in the university I am attending. I was wondering if it was possible to charge the amount to my debit card to pay off the bill, even though it will overdraw my account by about $12,000, and then make monthly payments on the debt (I receive direct deposits once a week of about $100-$150 each from a part time job). I know that this is a highly inadvisable thing to do, but I have exhausted all other options.

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps this morning, Nat.
It looks like you may be referring to TD Debit Card Advance. This is an optional overdraft service we offer with our Checking accounts that may help you avoid debit card declines. If your account is enrolled in this service, we may allow you to authorize ATM transactions or one-time debit card transactions even if you don’t have enough money available in your account. We ask that you take a look here: http://bit.ly/1voNBCy, for more details and also here: http://bit.ly/Yv0ulC for more specific information.
Please note that this is a discretionary service, a purchase or withdrawal on your account can be declined even if your account is enrolled in this feature. You're more than welcome to contact one of our Banking Specialist 24/7 at 888-751-9000, who can review your account and this service with you in more detail. Or, if you'll be nearby one of our locations, feel free to stop in during our extended lobby hours. If you click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores, you can find the TD Bank Store and lobby hours nearest you.
Have a nice day, Nat.
