Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Anne! We appreciate you considering us and it'll be our pleasure to tell you more about what we can provide you.
First, we'd like to let you know that you've reached TD Bank within the U.S. In general, United States accounts can be opened with our Bank, and any Canadian products can be opened with TD Canada Trust.
To go over what we can offer, as you are a Canadian resident, you'll be eligible to open TD Bank U.S. deposit accounts of your choosing if you'd like to have an account that uses U.S. Dollars with a U.S. routing (transit) number. U.S. Dollar accounts are also available at TD Canada Trust, and we've listed more information about that for you below.
We invite you to view all of your U.S. account options so that you can find an account which best fits your needs, and you'll have the option to open any of these account online. Please click here: http://bit.ly/1ishIab to take a look at your account options and begin an application for an account with TD Bank in the U.S. Or, you can reach our Cross Border Team 24/7 at 877-700-2913 to start your account. If you become a Customer of both Banks, you'll be eligible to take advantage of all of our convenient Cross Border Banking options, and for more information, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4.
You'll also be glad to learn that TD Bank here in the States does offer the opportunity for you to apply for a personal U.S. TD Visa Credit Card, if you also have a U.S. residential street address within the TD U.S. footprint, and you have existing deposit accounts with us here as well. You're welcome to begin the application for a U.S. Visa Credit Card here: http://bit.ly/1vJ8Oa9. Please note that if your Social Insurance number is provided on the application, your Canadian credit history will be used as part of the application process; or, if you have a U.S. Social Security number and use that information, your U.S. credit history will be used. Any questions can be directed to our Cross Border Banking line at the number listed above.
For any U.S. business accounts you may be interested in, kindly note that you'll need to have a business registered within the U.S. and you must be doing business in the State of account opening. Business accounts with TD Bank U.S. can be opened at any of our Stores. You're welcome to find a listing of our Stores here:http://bit.ly/TDStores. Credit cards for businesses can be extended by TD Bank once you are a U.S. business deposit account holder.
For a little more information about our TD Canada Trust products, we invite you to check out: http://bit.ly/18VtjMV to see what Marko had to say to regarding the account opening process there. Kindly note that while your personal TD Bank U.S. accounts can be listed there, any U.S. business accounts won't be able to be seen there at this time.
