Welcome to TD Helps, Sohail.
This is a great question, and we'll be more than happy to provide you with all the options you have when wanting to make a deposit when you're outside of TD Bank's footprint.
As you mentioned that you were hoping to make a deposit at a non-TD ATM, we have great news! You are able to make an ATM deposit into any ATM that is associated with the NYCE network. Typically, you are able to confirm if an ATM is associated with this network on the front of any ATM machine; however, if you're unable to do so, we'd like to recommend that you speak with the financial institution who owns this ATM for more information.
It's important to note that deposits made at a non-TD ATM may take longer to clear your account, generally 5-7 business days. Additionally, it is not recommend that you deposit cash into a non-TD ATM as, if something were to occur with your deposit, we would be unable to trace your deposit to perform a dispute.
If you're unable to find an ATM where you are able to make your deposit, we also offer a Mobile Deposit feature, which you can access right from your TD Bank Mobile Banking App. If you haven't yet downloaded our mobile app, you're more than welcome to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2gkUc4O for more information.
Should you decide that you'd like to take advantage of this feature, we'll be happy to walk you through for your first time.
To log in, you'll want to use your Personal Online Banking credentials, and once you've gained access to your accounts, you'll want to click on the 'Deposit' button, towards the top, center of your screen. Next, select the account you wish to deposit your check into, followed by the amount. Then, take a picture of the front and back of your check, and select 'Continue'. Once you have confirmed that the information entered is correct, click on the green 'Deposit check' button, and you're all set.
Just in case you may not be aware of our Funds Availability Policy, we'd like to invite you to check out the link here: https://go.td.com/2nf0JAI to view our Personal Deposit Account Agreement. On pages 40-44 you can find more information on just our funds availability.
If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to connect with us, and we'll be happy to help.
Banking Specialists can be reached by simply calling 1-888-751-9000, and for your convenience, they are available to help 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Of course, you're also welcome to visit a TD Store location, during lobby hours, to speak with a Customer Service Representative. Thanks for bringing your question to TD Helps, Sohail, and please enjoy the rest of your day.
