Welcome to TD Helps, Maisha. We're happy to hear that you're interested in joining the TD Family, and we'll be happy to point you in the right direction.
First, in order to open an individual account with TD Bank, we do have to let you know that you're required to be 18 years of age or older. That being said, for anyone under the age of 18, you may open a joint Checking or Savings Account with a Guardian or Custodian by visiting any TD Bank Store.
Since you're under the age of 18, if you are interested in opening the account with a parent or guardian, they will want to bring a valid form of identification such as a State License, State ID or Passport and their Social Security number to open the account. Acceptable forms of identification for minors include a School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security card. Joint accounts may only be opened at a TD Bank location.
Before stopping in, you might like to check out the types of accounts we currently offer. To view and compare our checking accounts, visit https://go.td.com/2aHjRCr or, you can use our Checking Selector https://go.td.com/2fhzGCi for help selecting an account that is the best fit for you. To view and compare savings account products, click on https://go.td.com/1pJT9I9, or if you prefer, we also have a Savings Selector https://go.td.com/2g1rrtS as well, which can help you choose after answering a couple quick questions.
If you have any additional questions, you can always give us a call. You may reach us at 1-888-751-9000. Specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for your convenience.
We hope this helped, and please let us know if you have any other questions, Maisha. We hope you have a great weekend.
