Thanks for considering the TD Go Card, Teresa! Great question and we'll be glad to discuss this with you.
First, we're happy to let you know that TD Go Cardholders just have to be 13 years of age or older in order to be eligible for the card! Since you mentioned that your son is 14 years of age, you're welcome to provide the card for him if you like. When you do so, as the Cardholder his name will be listed on the card.
We invite you to view some helpful information about the TD Go Card right here: http://bit.ly/1j8sgt2. Your son would be able to make purchases anywhere Visa is accepted, and you'll be able to monitor his spending and load funds to his card online. Kindly note that you must be a TD Bank Customer in order to purchase the card, and funds can be loaded using your TD Bank Visa Debit or Credit card.
For more information, you might also like to check out our Go Card Frequently Asked Questions here: http://bit.ly/1gRpCay, and the Go Card Terms & Conditions can be found here: http://bit.ly/1eSK0Du as well as the Account Guide here: http://bit.ly/1zrVD2w. And you can use the first link provided above to get a card when you're ready!
If you have any questions about it, feel free to reach our dedicated Customer Service Representatives at 855-219-8050.
Hope this is helpful to you and your family, Teresa! Thanks again for choosing TD and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
