Because you are asking specifically about our Premier Checking account, there is a required a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee. Although you are inquiring about our TD Premier Checking account, we'd like to share with you the many types of Checking and Savings account TD Bank offers. Once you're ready to open your account(s), as a non-US Resident you will need to bring two forms of identification and visit a TD Store. If you are in the States, you may locate the nearest TD Store by checking out: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Please note, one form of ID must be a valid non-US Passport or Visa with photo and the second form of valid ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo

Once you are ready to open your Business account(s), all authorized signers must visit a TD Bank Store and be present for the account opening process along with the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification Number for your business.
