Hi I am an Indian passport holder. I work in the Offshore drilling industry for a Cayman based company, subsidiary of a Houston based co. My 401K is at present with TRowe Price in the US. My daughters are joining colleges in the US this year. I would like to withdraw my money from TRowe and deposit it in a bank account for my daughters education. I have a ITIN (Individual Tax Payer Identification Number) for the IRS. Due to my work commitments I will not be able to visit US. Have been to the US twice in the earlier years. I have a mailing address in the US and also a cousin who is a citizen of US who can vouch for me.
Can you pls advise how to open an account so that I can take a loan from my 401K and use it for my kids education.
