Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Gina. We'd be happy to help.
You are able to exchange and order Canadian funds by visiting any TD Store during lobby hours. To take a look at TD Stores near you and their hours please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores. As the exchange rates are subject to change daily, you may give a call to the location you choose for information regarding the exchange rates.
As you've mentioned that you're going on vacation to Canada. We recommend placing a Travel Notification on your account prior to your trip.
You may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have a Customer Service Representative place a travel notification on your accounts.
If you are enrolled in Online Banking, you may also send us a secure message to place a Travel Notification. If you are not enrolled in Online Banking, please click here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Please have your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number and Social Security Number available.
Once you are enrolled, please sign into your account and click on the "Customer Service" tab and then select "Send a Message." If you choose this option, please include the exact travel dates, destinations and if there will be any connecting flight if applicable.
You can always visit your local TD Bank Store and one of our Customer Service Representatives can place the travel notes for you.
Please keep in mind, a Travel Notification helps us recognize unauthorized transactions on your account. Please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while outside of the country, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. If this is regarding a TD Visa Credit Card, you may contact our Credit Card Specialists by dialing 888-561-8861.
We hope this helps, Gina and have a good day.
